Latin 1 is only open to graduate students.
The
first meeting of this course will take place on
Monday 19 September at 1:05pm, in the David Hume
Tower, room 9.18.
An introduction
to the Latin language for complete beginners and
those with limited recent experience of the language.
A thorough grounding is provided in the essentials
of Latin accidence (nouns, pronouns, adjectives,
verbs) and in the syntax of the simple sentence.
